two months later...
mofos are still laughing off of that thriller video. everyone is telling me to post it to youtube, but i'm too lazy to figure out exactly how to go about doing that.
in the meantime, happy displacement of indigenous peoples day!
dinner was at my uncle's as usual, and as usual, after dinner we had the usual family trivia/boardgame play. oh my god. i love my family. we should really have our own sitcom, because when the "high class" relatives come in contact with the "hood" relatives, there is nothing but C.O.M.E.D.Y.
while playing taboo tonight, i delivered the following clue: this is a mammal whose name is also a lewd reference to female genitalia.
...
wait for it....
my dingy ass cousin-in-law, candida, she of the "congratulations sgt brandon, your the man" fame proudly shouted out, "UTERUS!"
that almost ended the game right there. it took us a cool five minutes to recover from that shit. uterus? that's a mammal?
so her husband, my cousin, the infinitely funny shane goes up for his turn. i'm the watcher, which means i'm the person standing over his shoulder watching him give his team the clues and making sure he doesn't say any of the forbidden words that are on the card. he pulls a card that has the SIMPLE, and says, "Candida is this." I couldn't even laugh at the fact that his brother and my favorite cousin Shaun yelled out, "drunk?" (yes, as a question), because i thought it was too funny that shane used that as his clue, and so i said, "ooh shane, that is fucked up," and it made him start laughing so hard he was like, "fuck it, pass" and tossed the card out.
we played this other cool game called "Scene It" and i had never heard of it tonight, but it involves your dvd player, and the one we had was the television one. my uncle and i ruled, and i won the game by a mile, to the point where everyone was like, "do you ever go outside", and i had to tell them that i honestly don't watch tv like that, and i really don't know how i know all the useless shit i know, but apparently it's not so useless because i rock at trivia games. i'm one of those people sitting there watching jeopardy with a calculator, counting up my points.
so much good food tonight. andrew fooled me; i thought he made sweet potato pies again, but he made cheesecake, which is still the bomb. the soul food was good too; my family knows how to clown when we get around each other.
i took tons of pictures of the baby twins tonight. i was over shaun and tracie's all day before we went to my aunt and uncle's. those babies are too cute. too lazy to upload now. wait for it.
and so, this is me, on vox.
what it do?
