They are closing the (New) Frontier Hotel. At 12:01 Monday morning, they will close their doors and the book on sixty-five years of Vegas history. It is being demolished to make room for a much larger hotel modeled after New York's Plaza.
In other news, the Luxor, that gigantic pyramid in the middle of the Las Vegas strip has decided they no longer want to have an Egyptian theme. I wonder what they are going to do with the huge Sphinx outside.
